Iraq War Veteran and Congressional Candidate will vote in Fairfield and Phone Bank Alongside Volunteers Before Election Night Party at Campaign Headquarters

Fairfield, CA: With latest polls showing him as the only candidate with momentum heading into the final days of the campaign, 10th District Congressional Candidate Anthony Woods has released his full schedule and media availability for Election Day, September 1st, 2009.

“We have seen a real surge of momentum in recent weeks, with hundreds of volunteers turning out for our Get Out The Vote efforts and undecided voters increasingly breaking in our direction,” Woods said. “We’ll be working right up until the polls close tomorrow to let voters know that they have a choice in this election, and a candidate who understands what it’s like to walk in their shoes.”

Anthony Woods is a West Point and Harvard trained economic policy specialist. He is a veteran of two combat tours in Iraq, was awarded both the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal for his service. Woods is a native of Fairfield, CA, and is campaigning for the September 1st Special Election to replace Former Representative Ellen Tauscher in California’s 10th District.
