CA 10 Democrat Anthony Woods to Host Town Hall Meeting on Saturday in Antioch

Iraq War Veteran Conducting his Fourth Town Hall Meeting in Advance of September 1st Special Election.

Fairfield: Fresh off winning the first newspaper endorsement of the CA 10 Special Election race, Iraq War Veteran and Democratic Congressional Candidate Anthony Woods will conduct his fourth in a series of town hall meetings across California’s 10th Congressional District this Saturday in Antioch.

Woods’ previous town hall meetings---in Fairfield, Livermore, and Walnut Creek---have already attracted “standing room only” audiences.

“It is clear that the voters of California’s 10th District know are looking for an alternative to the failed politics of Sacramento and the status quo in Washington.  From healthcare to the economy, to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, we’re offering tested leadership that understands these challenges from first hand experience,” Woods said.  “With just two weeks left until election day, I am looking forward to continuing the conversation this Saturday in Antioch, and sharing my vision for moving our district and our country forward.”

Saturday’s town hall will take place at the Antioch Public Library at 1:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
